Log file to capture console outout

Hi,

Is there an option to turn on logging from the console to a file? And if not, is it in the roadmap?

I ask as it can be used to record jobs (layers) that have been run and the time taken to run them which can assist in estimating billing, etc. Can also use it to calculate total number of hours that the machine has run, keep log of any errors, etc.

There is no such plan in the roadmap. I do have a plan to add logging the name of a job, the time it took, and a few other bits of info. Logging the console output would only work for GCode based systems.
