How do I do a factory reset on my longer b1 everything was working fine
now the frame button don’t work the go to origin button goes home instead of going to
the center of the of the page now a red light is beeping. something is really bad and honestly I don’t know what happened. any help would be appreciated.
A factory reset is unlikely to resolve the issue and may introduce other issues. I’d suggest identifying root cause before considering something like this.
In what way does it work? What are you doing, what are you expecting to happen, and what happens instead?
Why do you expect the origin button to send the laser to the center of the page? Have you done a “Set Origin” at the center of the page?
Where is it beeping and is there a sequence to this?
Try this:
- Make sure that “Absolute Coords” is configured as the “Start from” mode in Laser Window.
- Power cycle the laser. If it doesn’t automatically do a homing cycle then initiate one, assuming you have homing switches. If you do not have homing switches then do a manual home by moving the laser head to front-left of machine before powering on. After homing, never more the laser head by hand. Use the jogging controls in Move window exclusively.
