I’m hobby’n along on my XTool D1 Pro 20w, and doing Okay If I do say so myself.
I bought a VERY Decent “Slider Book” on Etsy. I was able to change the image and it cut, and printed How I want it to. It was of a Decent .PNG of a Dragon.
It Engraved it at 6000/60 at Jarvis 400dpi, No Overscan.
I changed the image to one of my Dog.
It runs about 1 line, stuttered, and stalls. And then it says that the USB connection is lost.
After I say NO, don’t want to troubleshoot. I’m able to “Go to Orgin”, “Frame”, and all else just fine.
So I put some lines to frame first, and it does, and then it stalls when it starts the image.
So I put it to 200dpi, and it went for 2 lines, and then stalls.
So I put it on Passthrough, and it Goes to town. I can’t make out the picture, but it burns.
I checked the the Original File was 750K-ish, and the new one was 3.3M.
Mainly because it was scaled so big.
I used GIMP, and scaled the image down to the 5" I wanted, and it’s size is now 750K-ish.
Proudly I started, and It is still stalling as soon as it starts to burn the image.
Okay, I came up with a solution. I’m not happy with it, but It got it working none the less.
I changed the image to “NO Bi-Directional” Burning, and 200dpi Jarvis.
It kinda seems like it gives the machine enough time to finish up the last line, and prep for the Next one.
Just putting what I found out there.
