Using Ruida 6332G controller for some 6 months . Never had this issue of misaligned cuts. Recently my machine cutting goes out of way and every thing gets misaligned. But the same file cuts appropriately other time. it keeps happening now and then and i waste my work piece .
Below is the photo marked with pencil indicating misaligned cuts.
Any ideas what causing steps to loose . It happens every 3rd or 4th piece of cut . cut speed16mm/sec power 37% max (100w laser)
That doesn’t look like lost steps - more like a communication error or something. How are you connected to the machine? I would double check that the connection between the computer and the laser is secure, and double check the wires between the motor drivers and the controller. If one was loose, and the ‘Direction’ wire dropped for a moment, it could cause that.
I usually connect the controller with usb and start the cutting from within LB. some times I remove Usb while the machine is running and everything is smooth.i do not see such behaviour .
Regarding the driver connections I will check tomorrow while I am at machine .
