If I select a group of objects on the screen and use the arrow keys to position the objects and then click “Fame” everything is great, until the Frame is complete and I found I need to move the objects a bit. The objects are still selected exactly as they were when I was using the arrow keys to move them before the frame. But after clicking Frame the arrow button no longer move the objects. The same thing happens after clicking any button, the objects appear selected but they don’t act selected. I need to un-select and then re-select them before I can use the arrow keys to move them.
Is there any way the objects can remain just as selected after a button click as before a button click?
Hold Shift or Ctrl when clicking back into a blank spot in the edit window - Single-press keys (like H, V, the arrows, etc) aren’t hotkey shortcuts that work from everywhere, they’re handled as key presses in the edit window, so it needs the keyboard focus for them to work.
If I made them “real” hotkeys, then arrows and any of the single-press keys wouldn’t work elsewhere, like in number entry boxes.
That works, I just need to remember to hit Alt R. Would it be possible to add (in a small font) Alt-R on the Frame button? Maybe as an option to display the keyboard shortcuts for all buttons. Then I could learn them all over time and be much faster in LightBurn.
If I add the shortcut text to everything the buttons will be significantly wider, and take up more space in the UI. Alt-R (Run fRame, because Alt-F is File menu). You’ll use it enough that it becomes 2nd nature.
