I have a Boss LS2440 cutter and was getting ready work on a commissioned project the other day when the laser stopped firing mid cut. Got no alarm errors from the chiller or the door. So I checked/tested the tube and power supply and it seemed like the tube was not getting power from the power-supply. I chalked it up to a bad power-supply. However came back the next day and tried to run my cut file again and low and behold the machine fired just fine and continued to do so for several more projects.
Today I went to start it again. I did some lens calibration and the “pulse” button fired the laser during that process, but now when I tried to start my new cut file the machine will not fire again. Any thoughts as to what might be occurring here?
