Been asking questions in software/general section (total galvo n00b), but it appears i may have hardware compatibility issue with this machine.
Specs:
M-Triangel PG-OneS fiber engraver
4W Raycus qswitch (FL-1064-4WX source)
Control board DBK21B (detected as BSLfiber in LB)
Galvo head - no idea.
So, here’s the issue - it will not take SOME of the parameters. Cant calibrate the lens, changing numbers will not fix distortion. Using COR file from working SJTcad folder does nothing. Trace speed cannot be changed. 9point lens calibration draws off-centre and way off scale of whats requested. I’m sure i’ve missed some other parameters. HOWEVER, i can change galvo X to 2 (which fixes orientation), general machining parameters like speed/power/hatch/frequency. So anything i run in LB comes out bulged in X, pinched in Y and wrong scale and no way to correct it.
Position wise LB does draw at the centre of the field when i put graphics there (no shifting to lower left corner as with 9point correction test)
The SJTcad(SeaCad?) i have here works flawlessly though, using a COR file for correction. I dont have working EzCad to mess about with settings, SJTcad is severely limited in machine options available to mess with (aka none, no ports, no manual correction, no other usual machine related things).
At this point i cant use LB.
My main 100W JPT machine is on a truck somewhere, hopefuly here on monday.
As i mentioned above i’m a galvo noob, but i do have 100W CO2 gantry, so some experience there.
Any ideas whats going on ? Any way to fix this ? Any workarounds ?
