Please bare with me as I am completely new to lasers and the software that you use to run them. Our laser has a Windows based computer that we have Lightburn on and it works fine. My question is this… I only have a Mac at home that I can use to do design work with. The laser is at another location. Am I able to learn and design on my home Mac computer with Lightburn and then send those files to the Windows based computer with Lightburn where our laser is?
Yes, yes you can. You will need to make sure both machines have the same Device Profile, and all the fonts used. There may be minor OS-level differences in how fonts are rendered, so save a normal one, and one with all text objects converted to paths, just in case you need it.
