want to buy a Mac for light burn and a thunder nova 35 laser thinking of a Mac mini and using a tv as a monitor. as far as connections go will this be alright , thinking hdmi to monitor, usb or ethernet to laser, and usb to keypad and mouse don’t want to buy and find out it wont work .already have a LGtv as a monitor. thanks for your help pat
I use both a mac mini M1 and a older mac min with Lightburn and have had no issues. I have not used USB only Ethernet . My machine is a 100 Watt CO2 a Rudia controller.
Thanks mate, I too have 100 watt ruida controls thinking of connecting same to machine. But also hdmi to tv as a screen, looks like this will work, thanks again . Do you think 8 gig is sufisient just for lightburn and machine??? Thanks again Pat
Yes I think 8 gig will work fine. Lightburn is easy on memory as far as I have be able to observe. I have been using the setup for about 2 years now.
