Hey! newbie here, I’ve downloaded a couple of files from etsy and loaded them into lightburn. When I go to run the file, it follows the path but the laser does not fire. However, I have found if i change the layer to black (00) it fires just fine. Why will it not fire in any other color layer? This makes it difficult as these files need multiple layers.

Have you set the speed and power settings for the other layers?
Please post a full screenshot of LightBurn with your design showing and the Cuts / Layers window in view.
speed and power settings are both set. In the photo CO2 turned on, it follows the path but no laser. If i highlight the object and change it so black 00 with same speed settings, it cuts just fine. Has happened with a few files. Ive downloaded
Your min power is likely below your minimum power setting for the laser to fire? Normally at least 15 to 20% for the tube to do anythinf. Can we see side by side comparisonz?
