When I try to engrave in Lasergrbl it works, when I try in Light burn the laser doesn`t comeout.

Can you provide the following:

  1. Screenshot of Edit->Device Settings
  2. full screenshot of LightBurn design loaded and Cut and Laser windows showing
  3. with design loaded push File->Save gcode. Save to a file with .txt extension. Upload file here.

Also, for clarification, are you saying you get no laser light at all? Or it’s not burning the material?

Hi Thank you for your kind reply.

For your clarification, Machine is moving as per the design and frame, but there is no laser light at all. But When I try in GRBLLASER, the laser light is coming and engraving the material. There is no laser light when I try in LASERBURN.

I am attaching below the screenshot of Edit- Device setting.

You haven’t included the gcode file which may still be necessary.

I see one issue. You have S Value Max set to 10,000 in Edit->Device Settings. I would expect this to make everything burn more than expected but in either case, it’s incorrect. Can you set that value to 1000 and retest?

If it doesn’t work, can you save the gcode as listed in my previous post and then upload the file here?

HI,

As per your guidance I set S value to 1000 and tried to run, but still no laser light.
Here I am attaching Gcode file.

Why it works in GRBLLASER not here?
Norwin.lbrn2 (19.1 KB)

That’s not the gcode file but rather the .lbrn file.

Can you follow the steps I listed?

In any case I’ve reviewed the attached .lbrn file and there is an issue with your settings. Your speed settings are much too fast for your laser. I’m guessing you are configured for mm/s as your units in Edit->Settings instead of mm/min which is the norm in LaserGRBL.

However, this would not prevent the laser from lighting, only from not burning.

Can you try adjusting the speed and/or units to something reasonable, like 100x slower, and retesting?

If that doesn’t work, can you please include the gcode file.

Hi Berian,

Thank you for your kind support.

I reinstalled the LASERBURN programme and it is working fine now. I think it was problem with detecting the device properly.

Anyway thanks a lot again.
