Machine upgrade license key

Hello! I’m a current customer with a Xtool D1 diode laser. We purchased a Boss laser DSP and received an activation code to upgrade software. The license key we received is charging us for the upgrade. How do we upgrade without a cost?

If you received a license key with the Boss laser, do the following:

  • Run LightBurn
  • Go to Help > License Management
  • Click the ‘Deactivate’ button to remove the GCode key
  • Re-run LightBurn
  • Enter the license you got with the Boss laser
  • Click the ‘Activate’ button

That should be it - a DSP license still supports all GCode devices, so you shouldn’t lose anything.
