Making sure i downloaded the correct version

i could not get the trial to work, so i need to make sure the version i bought and downloaded will work before i use the license code.

Please tell us why. What do you mean when you say “i could not”? Walk us through the steps you have taken, what you expected, and what did or did not happen. Please don’t hesitate to share screenshots to illustrate if that helps you explain what you are observing. :slight_smile:

what i mean by not working is that on the program screen

it says connected. when i try to home the laser hea


d it does nothing

and on the program screen it says waiting to connect

I would select a different com port and try.

i have tried that to no avail

I see you have created a ‘Device Profile’ for your laser. I might review the following sections of our documentation to ensure things are set and configured correctly.
