I’m trying to use the masking tool with no success. I made a drawing of a brick wall using the rectangle tool. I also made a drawing of a window frame. I want to insert the window frame onto the brick wall and remove any bricks inside the frame. When I select either of the images or both and click on Tools, the “apply mask to image” command is grayed out.
What am I doing wrong and how do I correct the problem.
Apply Mask to Image is intended to be used to mask Images, not vector graphics.
If I’m understanding what you’re trying to do correctly I suggest you look at the use of either the Boolean Tools or Cut Shapes features.
Thank you for your quick reply, especially on Christmas Eve. I think I’ve got it figured out. I used the “cut shapes” tool following the Youtube instructions and that seemed to solve the problem.
