I am attempting to run a material test on a Stanley mug, but when I try to run it Lightburn completely ignores that there is a rotary there. It is assuming I am attempting to test something on a flat plane. It doesn’t even stop at there rota and goes to the center of the grid and tries to run the test there. I can’t find, for the life of me, figure out how to get it to stop at the right spot. I have rotary enabled in Lightburn and it works, I ran a test test on a wooden dowel since I know the settings to burn wood.
I am not familiar with that setup. But I expect there would be a switch to turn off the Yaxis travel because you only want the Xaxis and Zaxis (in your case the rotary) to move. Do you still design using X and Y in the Lightburn grid?
yes, but I need to do another test to verify if it started where I had it laid our if it just went to the start position for the rotary and started from there. I’ll update after I figure that out.
