Hello, i have been working with lightburn for sometime now and have download almost every release that has come out and have noticed a small bug or glitch in typing in the material thickness in inches, have not tried in mm. when you highlight and start typing it only types the first 2 characters when you type after the decimal its only one character. Example 1.375 only type as 1.3. and .625 only types as .6 Have not noticed any issues in any other typing fields but this one.
Behavior in that field in general seems odd.
For example, select all characters after decimal point, typing 0 or 5 allows one additional digital after but not the 3rd digit. All other leading numbers only allow the first digit to be altered. Only way to change the 3rd digit is to highlight it directly. I haven’t experimented with left of the decimal.
I tested in inches on 1.6 beta on Win11. I suspect mm doesn’t have this same problem since that only allows one position right of decimal.
@Rick for confirmation.
@berainlb
correct if i highlight all three after decimal, I can only type 2 characters. if i highlight everything, i can only type 2 characters. I use 3 after decimal pretty often and if its working as expected it would be nice to be able to type everything. I have my work around using the delete key as I type but would love it if i could just type normally.
Thank you both for drawing our attention to this. I have generated a report for the team to take a look.
