Microsoft lives for bugs and introduced tem with new features. Its intentionally always. And its already 40 years.
So bad example The free software from Libre office an free office deliver better feature sets wit h way less bugs and way less people. Even Sun did it way better.
But if you wants to pay for intentionally buggy software be my guest. I rather support free software devs.
Can you tell me specifically which bits arenāt working for you? You havenāt mentioned anything specifically broken, but if you have a specific bug youād like looked at, weāre here.
This thread is about a switch that was added to give users a new choice, and we picked a default that some didnāt like. Nothing ābrokeā, it just displayed some measurements in the units chosen to run the machine, instead of the units chosen to design in. Thatās not a bug, itās a choice.
We dropped Linux because it was losing money. We would have to charge more to continue supporting it, because it was taking more time and effort keeping it working than the other two platforms, but was only about 1% of our users.
We increased prices for the first time in many years, and our increase was still less than inflation over that same period.
So now you have competition and is free. I helped LB a lot in the begining. It put a lot of time in LB. Result losing Linux and more expensive. If beambench is any good coming year its the last time i payed for LB. LB is way to expensive for the hobbyist
