MER 4060 tube laser challenges

Hi All,

We have a new addition in our hobby shop, an MER 4060 from South Africa. It is second hand. We are only experienced with LED lasers like the Orturs and Neje.

We have aligned it and it works well but we are having trouble engraving and cutting out copies of the same thing at once. Lets say leather keyrings. The one that it starts off with is perfectly centered and then the next one is a little off, and the next one is even more off and so on and so forth.

What could we do? I am attaching pictures for you to see what I am talking about.

On a CO₂ machine with a Ruida controller, this seems to be another symptom of having the PWM Rising Edge Valid setting wrong for at least one of the axes.

The usual symptom is a skewed engraving, rather than an offset, but the solution is the same;

Both PWM Rising Edge Valid switches will typically be False. Upload screenshots of the X and Y axis settings in Edit → Machine Settings → Vendor Settings so we can look over your shoulder.
