MillMage 0.9.00 Early Access – RC-5

Version five of our MillMage 0.9 Early Access release is available now. Here we provide more bug fixes and feature updates — overall, closer still!

Just as with LightBurn RCs, you can install MillMage RCs side-by-side with the current official release. That means if you encounter any workflow-breaking bugs in the RC, you can quickly switch back to the official release to keep working.

If you are currently using MillMage with a Core license, head to HelpLicense Management and click the Trial Pro button to get access to all Pro features for two weeks. We will extend Pro trials for our existing Core users for the duration of the 0.9 RC period.

I love it that Lightburn and MillMage are siblings. An issue found in one can likely get fixed in the other as well.

I am not sure, but I just upgraded and now it crashes every time I try to make a profile operation. I select the tool and click ok. Then it locks up and crashes. I have tried existing and new projects. The steps I used:

  1. Created a new project
  2. Created a simple rectangle
  3. Created a profile operation using the above rectangle and selected an endmill from the built-in tools.

It crashes every time. I tried a v-carve and a profile operation.

Latest update crashes everytime I attempt to create an operation or update an existing operation. RC-4 ran (basically) flawlessly. Please keep me updated to fixes.

We’ve noticed that particular bug, and are working on it.

In the meantime, anyone who wants to downgrade to RC4 can do so here:

Please download the latest release of MillMage here, which fixes this issue: Index of /MillMage/RC/MillMage-v0.9.00-RC-6/
