Trying to build a game on plywood. As I connect lines to build the game and look at the preview of the design a warning comes up and states Operation #4 (Chamfer Profile) → 12.7 mm V-Bit 60.0°
contains one or more open shapes. When I highlight the design, it shows all lines connected and only cuts the outer line and the inner cir
A release candidate is a version that might have some last minute bugs, hence candidate instead of production. RC3 might be the last one in the v0.8.01 series. For everyday use, you should be running the Production Release version.
I see you could be a Lightburn user. If so, copy your design into Lightburn and see if it will FILL. If it does not, then you have line segments that are not connected. Fix it in Lightburn, then copy it back.
At a loss swapped it over to light burn and fixed the lines had about 5 open lines. When I connected them they would not go to dash lines showing connected but swapped it back over to Millmage and its still doing it. This is driving me crazy. Maybe I will try a complete redraw in lightburn.
Well that looks good. I’m still getting the open shape message. Working on a complete redraw not sure what to do in the small square corners, rectangles, and triangles, I’m at a loss
Yes, all lines are on the same layer. When I try to connect the line nodes, they don’t connect to the other line like in Lightburn. I even tried to copy the game over to Lightburn and lined up the nodes, but it didn’t help either. When I moved it back to Millmage, it still says there are open shapes on that layer. If I complete the triangles, rectangles, and the small squares in the corners, they will cut, but they are wider than the original lines. We call the game fast track
I downloaded your file and I get no errors when I go to preview.
I’m on version MillMage Core 0.8.01-RC-3 @ 204e2b7 Qt6.5.7
That’s the RC release.
The real version I have (just upgraded) is 0.8.02 and that gives me no errors either. Maybe your copy of MillMage is corrupted? I’m a Steam gamer and it happens a lot on games.
I get no errors on either version. I was hoping I could help farther.
