Millmage “no operations” error in round frame only

I have been puzzling over this error for ages in the belief i was omitting to do something essential. I have a simple pocket job that displays correctly in preview but gives the error “No operations set to output” in round framing. It was a long time before I decided to give square framing a try and, lo and behold, it works perfectly!
I can execute my job perfectly using square frame but I still consistently get the no ops error with round framing, could this be a bug…?

Thanks for the .mage file with the operation you’re trying to circle frame in MillMage, version 0.8.02.

When I try to frame both operation OR one at a time I can replicate the warning message you received. I can click yes and MillMage successfully executes a circle frame.

However, if I open your project in our release candidate for 0.9.00 of MillMage, RC4, it appears the out of bounds for circle frame error bug has already been addressed. I do not receive the out of bounds message when I use circle frame in the RC.

Can you test your file in the RC4 0.900 and let us know if you still get the warning?

Make sure that you do not have ‘COM surrogate’ running in your task manager. Either that’s what is happening or something else on your computer is connected to the USB.

Are you selecting the COM port that your computer assigns to your cnc in your job control window?
