does anyone know when Millmage pro release date?
..when it’s ready.
That’s the only answer you will ever get from the Devs. Everything else is unreliable, and therefore, no dates are given. Never. 
I concur.
They do not play the “Announce and Push Back Delay” game.
Welcome @Joeseb, and thanks for asking. Melvin and Mike are correct. Our official position is we do not provide date-certain release information. Designing, writing, testing, and documenting software that works effectively across multiple Operating Systems, supporting a variety of CNC systems can be difficult and takes time to do well. We release once we have confidence in the quality of the release. The best we can offer is soon-ish.
I have chosen to use MillMage as my main software for the CnC. What we have seen to date is by far the best option for me. I have been using Lightburn for several years, the ability to share the files between the two programs is very powerful for a user with my profile. I have hundreds of files that are already created, they just need to have the toolpaths and we have a ready to roll CnC file.
Soonish? I wait impatiently for the Pro version to drop.
Congratulations to the dev teem, I really can’t imagine what all goes into a “HUGE” project like MillMage.
Now, get back to work!
I have also moved to using Millmage for everything except 3D relief carving… still using Estlcam until that wonderful day when they release Pro. I did set up a macro in Millmage that when I align my laser crosshair it automatically moves the tool to a zero position so that feature is very cool.

I remember that you control your Lowrider 4 over wifi (STA?) with a Surface tablet. Are you still connecting via wifi or have you run a usb cord for a hardwired connection to the Jackpot? I like having the controls available through MillMage midjob (e.g., increase/decrease feed speeds). I have pretty decent wifi in my workshop but run into some dropped connection issues. I am working on addressing those connection issues but have not settled on a solution yet. Just exploring options. Thanks.
i was having drop issues or not being able to connect at all, also for a while , tried 3 diffrent laptops always the same , i brought an external wifi for laptop and not had problem since
i have always cconnected to millmage via wifi without an issue
Hey Scott. Hope you’ve been well. My process is this… first I connect the surface via wifi to my wifi router… then open Millmage and load the project files (to update the files on that installation of Millmage from my project directory in the cloud). Then I turn on my LR4 machine. Once powered up, I then connect the surface pro directly to FluidNC under my wifi connection choices (no longer connected to local wifi or internet but connected directly to the onboard wifi from the Jackpot). This fires up the WebUI. (e.g. not STA mode) Once that is fully connected, I home the Z to verify the connection (also to raise my machine to remove the Z-Blocks) and then switch to Millmage and home the machine….
I too have a strong wifi as the Orbi router is 10 feet away but still there have been issues of having the Surface Pro connected to the machine via local wifi network.. never an issue connecting Surface directly to the Jackpot’s onboard wifi as I have found this to be the most solid connection.

That is very helpful. I didn’t realize I could connect Millmage to the jackpot via AP rather than STA. I thought the AP connection only worked with the WebUI. I’ll give that a try. That sequence is helpful. Thanks.
can’t do any 3d design with carvco maker. they do not offer perpetual license for maker plus. desperately waiting for this pro version. tired of high monthly subscription.

Things are progressing nicely. We have started producing Beta’s for our testing group. They have been banging, yanking, and pushing on it with pleasing results. We are locating bugs and issues that need attention, and that process is also coming along nicely. Getting closer…, but I must officially say, coming Soon-ish™️.
Not too old of a thread, however I am sure most have seen a new RC (preview) dropped with vcarve and relief carving. Not something I’m doing yet myself, but glad to see it so I can spend more on Pro when it comes out as GA.
