I see you’ve set a date for launch. If you buy it and 2 years pass before i want or need to buy thd updates, will it cost me $50 to update then?
Along those same lines, if you decide to upgrade from Core to Pro for $100, does that upgrade include a year of updates?
It will cost whatever the cost for a year of updates is priced at on that date - you will not have to purchase 2 years of updates, the +1 year applies from the date of purchase + any extra time remaining on your license key.
Upgrades are separate from updates - Purchasing a Core>Pro upgrade does not include a year of updates.

So if you upgraded to Pro without extending updates, could you use a version of Pro from the time your Core subscription was valid?

That’s correct. There will be the use case in the future once Pro is available where someone could start with Core, then expand into Pro needs but not need the latest and greatest. The pathway will exist, even if it is likely to be rarely used.

I am pretty sure if you have a Core with say 6 months of Updates left on it, upgrading to Pro means you still have that 6 months of remaining updates. @Colin, let me know if this is wrong.

Will there be a trial period for checking out the software after the official release date. So someone can test drive befors buying. I wont have time till end of march.
