Min vs Max acceleration

Can someone explain to me about “Min acceleration” in the machine settings.

I get what Max acceleration is all about, but I don’t understand what Min acceleration is for, when it comes in to play, how an appropriate number is chosen, etc.

Anybody out there understand this one that can explain a bit to me?

Ah, c’mon… someone must know.

I honestly don’t - my suspicion is that it’s related to jerk - IE, the acceleration of acceleration, but I don’t know for certain.
