Sometimes I would have moving items around in lightburn would be sluggish. After quitting Lightburn and rebooting the computer starting my project again every things up to speed. Task Manager doesn’t help so I believe I have software that locks up RAM after I shut it down. Would increasing PC RAM (16GB) or Video Ram (8MB) solve this problem
I don’t know how this would occur on a normal re-boot. The idea of a re-boot is everything is reset.
I don’t know of anything that allows any part of your ram to be locked out by a software product.
I’ve run this on a small 4core and a 2 core, a bit slower than my new machine, but it still worked fine. I don’t think it uses multiple cores and I doubt an increase in memory would solve the issue.
Might wait until one of the Lightburn people who knows how this works at a lower level to respond.
