Hi,
Im new to these things, but found a solution to a problem and wanted to share it.
I bought an MKS DLC 32 and wanted to add hard limit switches to all of the axis. It comes with only one 3-wire header for a single limit switch. I found a topic here where someone recently had a struggle with this also, but no solution so i wanted to add my experience.
I have managed to add a second limit switch
The additional switch is connected to the green wire(signal) and gnd.
NC - 1st switch board end of green wire
NO - gnd (i got it from the middle of first switch)
C - MKS end of green wire.
This way it grounds the signal wire when its pressed, but not the entire 5v line and crash the board. I tried lots of configs that managed to crash the board and if you miss the ground it leaves the logic level hanging so doesn’t work correctly.
Hope this helps someone,
B
