Mks dlc32 v2.1 nu taie si nu graveaza corespunzător

I received a laser as a gift from someone
it has no name.
the working area of the frame is 600x500.
Motherboard is MKS DLC32 v2.1.
Laser head is LASER TREE LT 40W F23.
It has 3 axes
I wasted 4 days doing tests and no good results.
Always when I try engraving, cutting or test material, after 1 minute of starting, the y-axis starts to make a little noise, causing uneven cutting or engraving.
I checked all the screws, belts, etc… and everything is ok.
I was thinking of changing the stepper motor or I don’t know what to do.
It could be a setting or something else.
Any advice or suggestions are welcome

    1. Post a video of the job running with 0% power with focus on Y motor.
    1. Swap cables X Y at motherboard, jog Laser head to the middle of the working area and run the same job.
    1. Post a picture off stepper drivers.
    1. Post .lbrn of that job.
    1. Type $$ in Lightburn console and copy/paste here the output.

Here is another list of mechanical checks you can do. Maybe there is something you overlooked so far:

Is this board came with display (TS24 or TS35)?

Do you know, what firmware the control board is running on? (Makerbase or possibly FluidNC?) What does the controller report to the console if you plug it in?
As mentioned before, show us the output of $$.
For FluidNC, $CD would give us info about the machine configuration.

I wouldn’t think, the stepper motors are bad. But it makes sense, to measure the current of the step sticks. The motor is possibly skipping steps.

i read on many forums that a problem would be firmware and i just installed new firmware and the problem is same …firmware is MKS-DLC32-FIRMWARE…V2.10_H35_2022_0621_N_ZX_001.bin

i tried again test material and it did that

speed=2500
power=20%

as you can see,the squares are engraved over the text,and text is double

You have to wait for files to upload to Lightburn servers.

Your $130=450 should be 600.
And $132=450 your Z has 450mm travel distance?

I didn’t set anything…what are good values?

Did you swap X Y cables?
Check this complete guide.

Post a pic of your machine and the initial pics also,
Does your machine have limit switches?
You have to tight belt / check grub screws in X axis.

Where did you input 2500mm/m ? 20% power??

Sorry I had not explained well.
The purpose is to check if the noise goes to X motor:

  • Disable auto-homing in Lightburn.

  • Connect Y motor to X output at controller.

  • Connect X motor to Y output at controller.

  • .

  • Jog Laser head to the middle of the working area.

  • Select following options and run the same job.

  • Pay attention if the noise disappears or moves to the X motor.

After that we take care of the settings.

i did everything you said and is the same
i have a rotary roller , and i took the motor off the roller and put it on the laser…is same
