I’m still trying to get the rotary attachment for my Atomstack X7 and everything seems to be in order except “MM Per Revolution”. Does anyone have the number for this laser?
MM Per Revolution is what I call the ‘Belly error’. It’s the often small difference between the calculated diameter and the engraved diameter.
The software applies it as an ‘axis calibration’. The roller is in contact with the cup you’re engraving so both travel the same number of mm.
This Ortur video is really good - I only have one comment. There is a 20mm mm per rotation correction after Rich says it’s perfect. It’s not shown that it took more than one attempt to get it perfect. A clear answer to your question is at 12:35 but watch the whole video - it’s really helpful.
