MM will not connect to Nymolabs, but LightBurn does

Using Windows 10, fully updated, Nymolabs NBS6040 with laser and 2 routers. I’m able to connect to LightBurn with any problems, but not MillMage (MM). When I have both programs open, open MM first, LightBurn says it cannot connect because port is in use by another program (MM). If open LB first, MM had no problem opening. It just does not see the machine. When either program is open, the computer sees my machine. If I unplug the machine, the computer indicates the machine disconnected and it shows up immediately when plugging back in.

I’ve tried several ways to fix this, including deleted the machine setup from MM and reinstalled. Did not fix it.

Should I delete MillMage and reinstall, or is there something else I’m missing?

Sidenote, I love MillMage. It’s going to be a great addition in my shop.

What controller do you have? What is showing in the Console window of MillMage when you try to connect (it should be the same for both LB and MM)? Are you sure all the comm settings match those in Lightburn?

Make sure there are no other softwares that could pick up the connection before MillMage gets a chance to connect: try a reboot followed by opening MillMage, and see if you can see the device then.

This topic can be closed. I got it fixed, but changed a lot of settings so I’m not exactly sure what fixed it. I think it was most likely baud rate issue. I waited 2 days and rebooted my laptop multiple times, it still works.
