Lightburn no longer will connect to my machine ( Monport co2 80w) I have tried resetting both machine & software. I checked, ethernet ips are the same. I don’t know what to do, I need desperate help & now
I have orders to do with the rotary & it’s not working.
It’s possible another device has popped up on the network, the router has assigned the laser’s IP address to it, and those two devices are responding to the same packets.
Changing both the laser’s IP address and the LightBurn setting may help, at least temporarily. The doc describes the process:
A long discussion of how to go about checking for the router handing out the laser’s address may be helpful:
I just changed them both again to a different last number again & still not reading my machine.
Time to get more information so the hive mind can ponder the situation:
- Photo of the machine display showing the laser’s IP address
- Screenshot of the LightBurn

ipconfigresults - Does the machine controller’s display show the network is connected?

pingwhen you ping the laser’s IP address
Type those commands in a Command Prompt window that you start by hitting the Win key and the R key, then typing cmd into the run dialog box.
