New Monport K40, when triggering the “test” button, the laser peaks at 19MA. I’ve aligned, cleaned, and double checked all settings in LB. However when running a cut in LB, the laser only peaks at 11MA, and cannot cut through 3mm veg tan leather.
Check that $30 is the same as S-Value max in the device settings… generally both are 1000

All of the settings match up.
Next place to check is the controller → lps
Most K40 have a pot or voltage adjust for power going to the IN terminal of the lps. The pwm goes to H or L depending on it’s output state.
You can measure both of these for the right values. This will tell us if it’s an issue in the control board or lps.
