More power = less power :o

Check this out. Is my tube dying!? It is sooo young! (18months)

New power supply, 4 days of fine work and now this.
I used to cut 6mm plywood with 75% power (around 30mA) and 14-18mm/s

Now I cut it with 25% power (11 mA) and 15mm/s
If I give more power, the ray is weaker and weaker.
This is absurd. It makes no sense. How? Why?
What?
???

Movies from tests. Rapid beam stops are tabs on the lines to check if sth happens.

Solved.

We had new power supply which we didn’t calibrate. It gave much more mA than the tube could take. In the end, it got fried.
