hello im having speed issues the software is not changing the speed of the motors no matter what i put in the laser motor speed do not change anyone know to fix this this ??
There is an Ortur section for your laser.
It is helpful to know if this is a new machine and you’ve had this issue or it’s it something that just raised it’s ugly head…
What exactly are you doing and what did you do with the speed controls to determine it is not reacting properly?
Did you setup your machine via the Lightburn grbl setup procedures?
Might want to post what is displayed in your ‘command’ window when the machine boots. This will give people the firmware version and maybe any other anomalies may exist.
Ensure that you have both machine and software set to the same dimensions, inch or mm.
Hopefully @OrturTech will notice and may have other ideas with the requested information.
Thats peculiar, maybe you are trying to set it in mm/sec
9000mm/min is the top firmware speed
So if by any chance you using mm/sec instead you might be always above that cealing
could you specify what speeds you trying to alter
Also, what firmware version?
Thank you for your response i was able to find and fix the issue. In the settings section i found that the radio button for MM best for CO2 laser was selected when I have A diode Laser fixing that has everything working great again thanks for the response.
