My mouse will not pan. I have checked and in works in all other programs accept tinkercad. I have changed the battery. It is a logitech m185. 
It will if i select panning from the top selection but not from a mouse button press
Press down on the center wheel to pan.

Or press SPACE bar. The pointer will turn into a hand.

Nope. Both progs do not respond. If i still had hair i would pull it out. Used to be fine

The mouse I use with my laptop is a Logitech M650L. It doesn’t always work with the center wheel. I would say it’s finicky. My other Logitech mice don’t have this same issue. Maybe yours is similar.
