I was wondering if anyone knows why my x, y and z movements are always twice the amount I defines. If I set 30mm and move either axis in any direction, it does twice the amount (60mm) and you can hear it is doing 30mm twice, there is a short stop and then it moves the same amount again.
I checked the settings but cannot find anything that might cause this issue.
Maybe the console entries help. I use a Snapmaker 2.0 A350. These are the entries that came after those in the console after starting Lightburn:
echo:Unknown command: β?β
ok
Starting stream
echo:Unknown command: βM2β
Stream completed in 0:00
ok
ok
ok
ok
echo:Unknown command: βM2β
ok
Maybe someone can tell what is causing this. Not sure if it is the interface to Snapmaker or some setting.
Sorry for the late reply, I deactivated the Auto Home now and the units were in the right setting.
I was hoping I could control the stepping with Lightburn. As far as I know, you should not use Luban and Lightburn at the same time and it is easier to do all the settings on the Laptop than switching between Touchpad and Laptop all the time for any change and test.
I need to have a look at that other post next time I have a project. Thanks for your help.
