i know this has been discussed previously and no def decision was made , just wondering if the move position tool ( tool below the A) is going to be reintroduced like in light burn at some stage
when trying to position designs on big slabs with no straight edges to work from , being able to have the position tool to preciously move router against my design, to see where my design sits on the slab, would be a huge help
is there going to be camera function added at some stage like lightburn
I found the loss of this function a little frustrating, I now use a workaround that works just as well.
I created some crosshairs with an offset, also a puck position both of which are centred. I can now move the crosshairs to my go to position then use the move tool.
Yes I do a similar process, but can still be time consuming in some instances , especially when dealing with odd shaped slabs, but guess that’s on me for taking on the difficult jobs
I do understand their reasoning for removing it as a safety thing for the odd idiot who would move while spindle running , a type of fail safe could be added like say have to hold shift and say tab at same time to be able to active a movement
Its not the end of the world but would be nice to have it back
