I’ve not noticed this before but when I’m setting up a burn the Move window is as always allowing me to move the laser head around. As soon as I start burning the window changes to speed and power controls where I can adjust either or both. On completion of the burn the window reverts back to normal. Have I missed something or changed a parameter without realising it? If this is normal can I change the speed and power “on the fly”? I’m a little confused, which at my age is quite a normal condition!
You must have just missed previously. That is normal operation for a GRBL machine. The speed and power adjustments are rudimentary though. If I remember correctly (it has been a while since I’ve used the feature) the speed and power both increase or decrease together for some reason I don’t understand. Try iot though and see your own results.

They SPEED and POWER intervals are independent, usually. There are times though, that adjusting on makes the other move at the same time. Just go back and readjust the parameter that you did not want to move. Easy to do. Why do we have to do that? I can’t say. Yes, after the first re-adjustment it appears to work normally
