Mug/Handle/Rotary setting

Hi all.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I have done zillions of tumblers on my machine (Chinese 6040 with an HM rotary) but never anything with a handle.

Normally I’ve simply used absolute positioning, it spins the tumbler to wherever, and then it engraves. No big deal.

Problem is, with the handles, I have to get my position right. So, on the laser controller (Ruida), I hit the origin button to set the position, and then I set Lbrn to Current Position or User Origin (I’ve tried both.)

It spins the tumbler (with using the frame function or actually using a junked up tumbler) what seems a logical amount. I then try to engrave one. It works fine until it’s about halfway done, and then stops and says out of extend space (which I always assumed means it thinks its run off the maximum image area of the laser.)

Anybody have any idea what I am doing wrong? Any help would be very much appreciated…

Thanks.
