I tried using a multi-mode layer (first line and then fill), however the program completed most of the line cutting first, then completed the fill, and then went back and finished of the line cutting. Ordinarily that probably wouldn’t be a problem, but the timber I’m engraving (Blackbutt) looks different if you apply to operations a different order, and it’s very noticable. Edit - either this or it is processing with different settings on the part it does afterwards
I do this as it gives a better finish to line cut then fill, it’s sharper and easier to read the text.
From the image, the Honesty was completed fill then line (not the desired outcome) and the Effort was completed line then fill.
My current work around is duplicating the layer and doing a separate line layer then a fill layer but this is more cumbersome.
