Multiple Lightburn Windows and Selecting Laser

On one PC I open 2 Lightburn instances, the laser will connect to the first instance. In the second instance I am editing a project, but I am unable to send it to the laser because the laser is attached to the first instance.

Is there a way to disconnect the laser from Lightburn and make the laser available for another instance?

You can add a 3rd machine - a “NO Machine” Profile

When you are done with the first project - and Lightburn connection - switch to "No machine "profile.
On your 2nd Lightburn, select the COM port, and it should connect.

This issue is only based on the fact serial ports allow only 1 connection, so you have to free that connection first.

Thanks. This is much better than what I was doing.
