My image layer keeps going to the bottom of the cut list how do I lock it into being always number one

Hi, I am Always using about five layers but I cannot see them unless the image layer is in the first position. I would like to always keep the image layer in the first position to lock it in no matter what I’m doing to it how do I get it to hold the 1st position

I believe it´s not possible right now.
Here you have a fast workaround, when you need the image(s) at the beginning positions right-click the #, Layer or Mode…box and select Sort Cuts Last.:
