monport 30w
shuts off and disconnects during projects and also get stuck in framing i have to power cycle of restart lightburn just for it to do it again
We see this complaint often. The usual cause is the USB cable. Order one that has one or more ferrites on it.
Same thing. Lightburn is not told the Framing operation is completed because the connection is lost.
Sorry for the late response. I’ve ordered cords I’ve tried two with the ferrite ends and one without they all do the same. I’m not really sure where to go from here honestly
How long are the cables? Over 10 feet is asking for problems. If you have a really short USB cable, try that.
I am not thinking the power supply yet because Framing is a fairly light load.
Have you tried a different USB port on the PC?
Don’t give up yet!
@renegaderifle ,
Did you load the Monport’s config file when you added your Galvo? If you set the wrong port for “Start Framing” in the Device Settings, this could be the cause.
Could you try the manufacturer-provided software?
