Need help making a degree symbol

Here is the code for degree

PC. Hold down the Alt key and on the numeric keypad on the right of the keyboard, type 0176 or Alt+ 248.
Mac. Press Option Shift 8

You can also type it as a unicode character using CTRL + Shift + U, followed by 00B0 and then enter.
