I am trying to engrave sheet metal to make fingernail stamping plate. I have been sucessful in getting an engrave, but its not deep enough
I would like very much if a kind person would share the settings to accomplish my goal

Diode and C02 lasers are not made for engraving. Best you can do is find marking spray or paint it flat black and 100% power and 5mm/sec or less.
Better yet is anodized aluminum.
Once engraved spray flat black or marking spray on it in it’s place and do a second engrave.
What kind of paint to use, i have toothpaste type acrylic and india ink here?
Also would prepainted black sheets be a good option?
