NeJe Master 2 ----20w Running Just Won't Burn

Brand new to the laser so please bare with me.

When trying to run LightBurn 0.9.16 I can’t seem to adjust my Power min%… I hit start, program runs just won’t burn. What am I missing here?

Two things:

  1. With a GCode based controller, Min Power does nothing unless you are engraving a grayscale image, where it controls the power output for parts of the image that are pure white.

  2. You’re using a diode laser, which tends to be slow, and you’ve told it to go 350 mm/sec while engraving an image. You’re more likely to get output in the range of 50 to 80 mm/sec, or 3000 to 5000 mm/minute. You can change the speed readout to be in mm/minute in the main settings.

Thanks for the help! I lowered the speed to 45 mm/s and we’re off and running!
