Hi, I have a noisy Neje max 4 when working a job, the job still comes out o.k but the noise sounds like a lot of nuts rattling around, all help greatly appreciated.
I would start with making sure your frame is perpendicular and work your way down the list to rule out mechanical issues:
Does the noise start right away? If not, check the fans on the laser module. I had a similar issue on mine which turned out to be one of the fans. They were both dirty. I took them off and cleaned them and now all is good. If they get dirty, they may also make a high pitched whine when they run. My wife has mentioned they sound a lot like me at times.
