What is the source of the file?
Two things to watch out for:
- Go to Edit->Device Settings and make sure that origin is set to bottom-left. This will allow your burn to match what you see on screen, mirrored or not.
- Any designs that were originally designed with a different origin will need to be mirrored/rotated as necessary to reorient the design. If they show normally on-screen then they will burn normally as long as step 1 above has been addressed.
The origin has always been to the bottom left if it comes up on my screen mirrored I correct it and save it next time I bring it back on my screen it is mirrored again and what is the settings for the machine settings I think they are not correct thank you for your time
Are you absolutely certain you are saving properly? If this is repeatable can you upload a file where this is occurring? Make sure that you can demonstrate that the file’s timestamp is actually updating.
This will have nothing to do with machine settings unless there are specific symptoms that you haven’t yet disclosed.
Okay the reason I mentioned the machine settings is that I have one laptop ,two monitors working I have ortur Master 2 next to my Neje laser. Last month I changed to ortur over to Rotary… saved the settings for the laser as default…The Neje was working fine, but somehow I believe the settings for the niji was changed I don’t know what the original settings were that’s what I’m saying why the question was for the settings that’s why I didn’t mention it originally sorry I will follow your instructions I am not a newbie but I’m definitely not an expert thank you so much for your time

Machine settings are stored on the controller itself so wouldn’t apply to both. However, a setting on the LightBurn side could be changed. Normally if you have multiple device profiles setup each profile will retain its own Device Settings. If somehow you tried sharing the same device profile for both and changed settings that would apply for both lasers in that case.
Okay then how do I find the correct settings to change that back on the neje laser .can you help me out with that thank you so much for your time
What is it on the Neje that you’re trying to change back?
The machine settings I believe are wrong , it must of change when I change over to rotary settings on my ortur laser and when back to default settings

Can you describe the specific behavior that you’re experiencing that makes you say this?
It’s possible that this is not a machine setting issue. Make sure that the rotary has been disabled in Rotary Setup.
Just let me clarify if the machine settings are not correct which I’m not sure stated in my previous post I don’t know if I changed it by mistake but then you’re telling me that it has nothing to do with the mirror in when I get a chance I’m going to check on the origin of both lasers and work on it and see what comes up just don’t have the time now but again I thank you guys so much for your help you are the professional and I’m just a student senior students 74 amazing that they can even do anything LOL
I’ll try to explain with my ortur laser Im burning circles making a template for wood coins it was working fine I’m burning the 16th inch hobby wood but now I started another template and it goes halfway around one Circle and just stops… reset everything starts over goes a little bit longer and stops so I just stopped everything… I’m sorry seems like I’m writing a book thank you
Actually, the more detail and context the better. Otherwise we’d have to just guess or work from incomplete information.
What happens when it stops? What’s the state of LightBurn at that time? Is the laser still responsive at that point? What do you need to do to recover?
Was the laser working correctly previously?
Can you confirm that you have unique device profiles for the Neje and Ortur?
For the original mirroring issue, the screenshot I see just looks like either the graphic was flipped or was designed in a different origin system. This should not be related to machine settings.
