New computer does not recognize my laser

good night I hope someone can help me change an old pc to a desktop mac and a new portable mac, I have the problem that my laser, which is an atomstack, does not recognize either of the two computers. I don’t know if it’s because the cable is 10 feet long on the desktop mac or because the laptop only has usb3
Can someone guide me to know what I have to do

Make sure you have installed the required driver files to allow your Mac and Atomstack to communicate.
