I receive an error whenever I click on file save and the file is on a NAS. When on a local drive, there is no issue. I believe the issue is that there is no backup file saved (I don’t get the message at the bottom of the screen that one has been saved as in previous versions). The file saves normally. The message displayed is:
Lightburn was unable to remove the backup file ‘UNC/wdmycloudex4100/Public/Lightburn/files/Sports Teams/team wins_LDDesR.lbrn2’

What I think is happening here is that Lightburn saves the initial backup to the local drive. When you save your work to a cloud or NAS box, the backup is still local, but LB is looking for it remote.
I suspect a workaround for now is to save the LB file locally, copy it to the remote location, and then reopen it from there. From there on it should be okay for that file. Sorry I can’t test this theory at my current location.
The @LightBurn team fixes pretty much everything, so just give them time.
We have a fix for this, and it’ll be in the 1.7.01 patch. You can ignore the message for now - there’s no harm in it.
