Everyone, I just got a new Ortur Laser Master 2 20W am and trying to get it to connect to Lightburn. I need help with this please. When I turn on the Ortur, and the gantry is in the middle of the cutting area, it will home itself to the lower left origin. When I turn on Lightburn and click on find my laser, the progress bar just speeds by with no results. Any help on this? Like I said, I am new at this. When I plug the USB cable from the Ortur to the laptop, the laptop sounds off as a new device has been detected. Can anyone please give me help on how to connect to Lightburn? There is probably a lot of post already on this topic for us new users, but I was wanting to get started.

Do you have a profile set up already? If so, trying to ‘Find my Laser’ again will not work. It is like trying to call someone you are already on the phone with. The laser does not provide “call waiting” like services.

We suggest you follow the directions provided by Ortur to get your system set up and working. We also suggest you start here for understand how to set up and use LightBurn.
